**Forecast models indicate a high in the mid-to-upper 20s Celsius for Toronto on September 3 amid mostly cloudy skies, light southwesterly winds shifting northwest, and a 30% chance of showers that could cap afternoon heating.** Official guidance from Environment Canada centers on 26°C, while ensemble runs and other guidance (including GFS-derived products) cluster between 26–28°C, reflecting modest uncertainty in cloud cover timing and shower development. Above-average warmth relative to the 1991–2020 September 3 mean high of 24.2°C stems from a lingering warm, humid airmass with humidex values near 34–36 the prior day, though increasing northwest flow and partial clearing support modest cooling from peak values. Trader emphasis on 27–28°C over lower outcomes aligns with the spread in model highs and historical precedent for occasional late-summer warmth, while limited probability mass above 29°C reflects the moderating influence of cloudiness and potential precipitation. Updated model runs and official briefings on September 2–3 will refine resolution criteria tied to the daily maximum at official stations.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=cyyz
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
