Canada's roster depth, anchored by NHL standouts like Connor McDavid, Nathan MacKinnon, and Sidney Crosby, underpins the 50.5% trader consensus for the 2026 IIHF World Championship title in Switzerland. Recent roster announcements and pre-tournament results have reinforced this edge, including a 5-3 opening victory over Sweden. Finland and Switzerland each sit near 15% amid strong recent form and the host nation's home-ice advantage in Zurich and Fribourg, while the defending U.S. champion trails at 6.5% with a depleted lineup. Sweden's 7.5% reflects solid depth but limited early momentum, as the field remains tightly contested beyond the top contenders with the tournament only days old.
