The tight clustering of implied probabilities around Jalon Daniels and Tyler Shough, with Drew Lock and others not far behind, stems from Week 2's uncertain passing-volume landscape. Shough's Week 1 explosion of 410 yards against Detroit highlighted the Saints' pass-heavy approach when trailing, but his matchup with Baltimore's defense and potential game-script shifts create volatility. Daniels, operating as a Buccaneers backup, benefits from roster depth questions and any Mayfield limitations, while injuries sidelining starters like Sam Darnold and Kyler Murray elevate backups such as Lock into higher-volume spots. Multiple teams face rest disadvantages, weather concerns, or trailing scripts that favor aerial attacks, sustaining crowd-sourced uncertainty reflected in these bunched probabilities rather than a clear frontrunner.
