**Brock Purdy enters Week 2 as the clear trader favorite at 48.5% implied probability to lead all quarterbacks in passing touchdowns, driven primarily by his Week 1 output of three passing scores in the 49ers’ 27-7 win over the Rams.** That performance, combined with a favorable home matchup against a Dolphins defense expected to allow volume through the air, has anchored market sentiment. Most other signal-callers sit at 25% or below, reflecting the wide distribution of outcomes typical in a single-week passing TD market where any QB can post a multi-touchdown game. Recent form, offensive line health, target distribution to weapons like Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel, and opponent defensive rankings shape the pricing, with no single player dominating historical Week 2 data enough to shift consensus dramatically. Traders appear to be pricing Purdy’s recent efficiency and situation as the strongest single-game edge while acknowledging the inherent variance across the rest of the field.
