Mitch Marner’s record-setting hat trick in 6:10 during Game 3 of the Vegas Golden Knights–Carolina Hurricanes Stanley Cup Final has driven overwhelming trader consensus that he will post the highest single-game goal total in the series. The forward, already the playoff points leader with 28 points entering the Finals, delivered three even-strength goals in one period while tying a century-old mark for points in a period, establishing a benchmark no other player has approached. With Vegas holding series momentum and Marner continuing to generate high-danger chances alongside linemates like Jack Eichel and Mark Stone, his combination of volume, finishing, and recent form leaves limited realistic paths for challengers such as Logan Stankoven or Brett Howden to surpass three goals in any remaining contest.
