Orlando City enters the U.S. Open Cup semifinal against Columbus Crew with strong recent momentum after a 3-0 shutout of Toronto FC, extending an unbeaten run to four matches while sitting sixth in the Eastern Conference. The Lions have scored efficiently in recent outings, led by Antoine Griezmann’s goal streak and contributions from emerging talents like Harvey Sarajian. Columbus, by contrast, sits near the bottom of the East with limited wins and recent league struggles, though it holds home advantage at ScottsMiracle-Gro Field. Injury concerns include Columbus absences such as Wessam Abou Ali and Orlando’s Braian Ojeda, with both sides managing short rest ahead of the September 16 matchup that determines final advancement.
