Netherlands enter the 2026 World Cup as Group F favorites, reflected in the 53.5% implied probability, thanks to their higher FIFA ranking near seventh, deeper squad experience from recent European qualifying, and consistent competitive results. Japan sits second at 27.5% on the strength of early qualification, organized play, and transition attacking that has produced strong recent form. Sweden trails at 14.5% despite forwards such as Viktor Gyökeres and Alexander Isak, as inconsistent qualifying results and a playoff path have tempered expectations under manager Graham Potter. Tunisia rounds out the field at 5.9%, valued mainly for defensive structure that can frustrate opponents but limited overall depth. The group stage opens June 14, with Netherlands facing Japan first.
