Portugal enters Group K as the clear frontrunner to lead in goals scored, backed by superior squad depth, attacking creativity from players like Rafael Leão and Bruno Fernandes, and Cristiano Ronaldo’s continued influence in the box despite his age. Their opening fixtures against DR Congo and Uzbekistan offer favorable matchups for high output, while the Colombia clash could feature open play. Colombia’s pacey attack featuring Luis Díaz provides a secondary threat but trails in overall firepower and experience. DR Congo and Uzbekistan, making limited tournament impact historically, project for far fewer goals against stronger defenses. Trader consensus reflects these pre-tournament assessments of attacking quality and schedule positioning ahead of the June 17 kickoff.

In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by FIFA World Cup rules. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the team that conceded fewer total goals during the group stage. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the team that is listed first alphabetically.
If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 11, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other".
The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
