Karen Khachanov enters the 2026 Halle Open round of 32 as the clear favorite against Ethan Quinn, driven by his higher ranking (No. 15), greater experience on grass, and stronger overall pedigree. The 30-year-old Russian has posted solid prior results on the surface and holds a 1-0 head-to-head edge from their 2025 indoor meeting. Quinn, a 22-year-old American ranked in the mid-50s, brings recent hard-court momentum from the Australian Open but limited grass-court seasoning and a mixed 2026 record. The grass-court transition after clay majors, combined with Khachanov’s serve and physical advantages, shapes trader consensus around a likely straight-sets outcome, though Quinn’s youth and baseline consistency could extend sets if he capitalizes on early breaks.
