Current National Weather Service forecasts for Dallas on September 2 project a high in the upper 90s°F under mostly sunny skies with southeast winds of 5–10 mph and a 20–30% chance of afternoon showers or thunderstorms. This setup, following several days of 100°F+ heat, supports market-implied odds clustering on 94–97°F bins as traders weigh how much any late-day convection or increased cloud cover might cap the peak. Historical September averages near 93°F and recent model consensus on modest instability create the tight spread between 94–95°F and 96–97°F outcomes, with lower probabilities assigned to 90–93°F or 98°F+ scenarios pending final observational data.
