This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the lowest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 22 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the lowest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=katl This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Current National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta on September 22, 2026, point to an overnight low near 70°F under partly cloudy skies with a 30-50% chance of showers and thunderstorms.** This aligns with trader emphasis on the 70-71°F range (26.0% implied probability) and nearby buckets (72-73°F at 20.0%, 68-69°F at 19.5%), reflecting model consensus around typical late-summer nocturnal conditions. **Persistent warmth and high humidity (dew points near 70°F) limit radiative cooling, while variable cloud cover and potential evening convection can trap heat and prevent sharper drops.** Historical averages for September 22 show a mean low of ~64°F, but recent patterns with highs in the upper 80s-90s have kept overnight minima elevated near 70°F. The closely matched 42% odds on 63°F or below versus 82°F or higher highlight uncertainty in exact timing of any clearing or rain, which directly modulates minimum temperatures via changes in longwave radiation and boundary-layer mixing. **Key upcoming catalysts include the next NWS model runs and local observations through the night, which will refine steering winds and precipitation timing.** These factors differentiate the clustered mid-60s to mid-70s outcomes from more extreme scenarios.
