Current forecasts from Environment Canada and supporting models point to clear skies and light northwest winds over Toronto on September 11, supporting radiative cooling overnight and a minimum near 12–13 °C. This follows passage of a cold front, with daytime highs around 23 °C. The market’s close split between 17 °C or higher and 7 °C or below reflects lingering uncertainty in exact overnight lows, as small shifts in cloud cover or wind speed can alter minimum temperatures by several degrees. Historical September 11 averages show lows near 14.6 °C, providing context for the current cooler pattern. Updated model runs and the next Environment Canada briefing remain key near-term catalysts.
