This market will resolve to "Yes" if Andrew Tate is released from government custody by the listed date, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". If Tate is released but remains under house arrest, the market will still resolve to "Yes". If Tate is released on parole, bond, or any other condition that results in them leaving state custody, the market will resolve to "Yes". Transporting Andrew Tate to another location of custody (e.g., a different prison, court, or hospital within the correctional system) will not suffice to resolve this market to "Yes". Temporary outings from prison for purposes such as testifying in court or before Congress, while still under the custody of correctional authorities, will not count as a release. Extradition or transfer to a different jurisdiction of custody will not qualify as a release from custody. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from government authorities or corrections departments; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Andrew and Tristan Tate have remained in U.S. federal detention in Miami since their July 18, 2026 arrest on a UK provisional extradition warrant tied to dozens of charges including rape and sex trafficking spanning 2010–2017. A magistrate judge heard extensive bail arguments on August 27 but issued no immediate ruling, leaving the brothers in custody pending a written decision amid the strong presumption against release in extradition matters. The UK has until September 16 to file its full request and supporting materials. On September 4–5, Romanian prosecutors issued a new indictment against the pair for additional trafficking, money laundering, and related offenses, though it remains unclear whether Romania will pursue its own extradition from the U.S. or allow proceedings to advance in absentia after preliminary chamber review. Any bail grant, UK or Romanian extradition developments, or court rulings on the pending motions could shift custody status in the coming weeks or months.
