This market will resolve according to the total number of valid votes cast in the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Arkansas. If the reported value falls exactly between two brackets, then this market will resolve to the higher range bracket. If the results of the specified election are not definitively known by March 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to the lowest range bracket. All votes certified for candidates or non-candidate options in the specified election are included. Invalidated or blank votes are not included. In ranked-choice or preferential systems, the first-round vote total will be used. The primary resolution source for this market will be the official results of the 2026 midterm election for Senator from Arkansas, as published by the state electoral authority responsible for certifying the results of the election; however, an overwhelming consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The non-competitive dynamics of the 2026 Arkansas U.S. Senate race between incumbent Republican Tom Cotton and Democratic challenger Hallie Shoffner are shaping turnout expectations, with the solidly Republican environment and limited polling separation keeping multiple vote-total buckets clustered near even odds. Cotton secured his nomination with over 81 percent in the March primary, while Shoffner advanced on the Democratic side against minimal opposition, leaving the general election on November 3 focused more on base mobilization than persuasion. Other statewide contests, including the gubernatorial race, registration trends, and rural turnout patterns typical in Arkansas elections, add layers of uncertainty that traders appear to price as evenly distributed across ranges from under 600,000 to over 1.05 million votes. Late-cycle factors such as early voting participation, national political signals, or weather could still shift totals and create clearer separation among the leading outcomes.
