In the second round of the Bordeaux Challenger on clay, second seed Tallon Griekspoor (world No. 31) faces Frenchman Benjamin Bonzi (No. 101) in their third career meeting, with the head-to-head split 1-1 after Griekspoor's 2023 Pune Challenger final win. Bonzi, buoyed by home-crowd support, staged a strong comeback in his first-round victory over Moise Kouame (2-6, 6-4, 6-0), showcasing resilience on his preferred surface where he's 4-4 this year. Griekspoor advanced routinely but enters with modest 2026 clay form (around 1-5 recently, including a Madrid Open second-round loss to Musetti), relying on superior ranking and baseline power. Traders price a competitive affair, factoring Bonzi's surface affinity and crowd edge against Griekspoor's experience, with no reported injuries or weather disruptions.
