Ella Langley's "Choosin' Texas" holds overwhelming trader consensus for the Billboard Hot 100 dated September 26 due to its unmatched 22-week reign at No. 1 through mid-September, driven by steady U.S. streaming above 24 million weekly, robust radio airplay impressions exceeding 50 million, and consistent sales. The country crossover hit, co-written with Miranda Lambert, continues to outperform newer entries like Taylor Swift's "I Knew It, I Knew You" and Stella Lefty's "Boston," which sit lower amid softer streaming support. Historical patterns of long-running leaders rarely yield late upsets without a major promotional push or viral surge, though a surprise sales spike or radio shift could theoretically alter the final tracking period.
