Kyle Schwarber has surged to the top of the MLB home run leaderboard with 20 long balls through mid-May, becoming the first player to reach that mark in 2026 and establishing a clear lead over Aaron Judge’s 16. The Phillies designated hitter’s recent power surge, including a pair of homers in a single game, has driven his strong pace and solidified trader consensus around his frontrunner status. Judge remains a close second with consistent production from the Yankees lineup, while Munetaka Murakami and Matt Olson sit further back amid solid but slower starts for their respective clubs. Market pricing reflects these early-season batting trends and the inherent variability in home run totals over a full 162-game schedule.
