Early in the 2026 NFL season, the interceptions leader market stays tightly bunched because no regular-season stats have accumulated yet and turnover production remains highly variable. Traders assign similar implied probabilities to a deep group of cornerbacks and safeties, including Derek Stingley Jr. and Tremaine Edmunds near 24 percent, with Jaycee Horn, Kevin Byard, Marlon Humphrey, Xavier McKinney, and Sauce Gardner clustered just behind. Factors such as defensive scheme fit, opposing quarterback tendencies, coverage volume, and historical year-to-year fluctuation in picks keep the race open, as even established playmakers can see totals swing sharply based on game script and luck.
