This market will resolve to the team that concedes the most total goals through the group stage of the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the team that scored the fewest total goals during the group stage. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the team that is listed first alphabetically. If the 2026 FIFA World Cup competition is cancelled, postponed after July 11, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from FIFA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The tightly bunched probabilities around 45-50% for dozens of sides in the 2026 World Cup group stage reflect broad uncertainty early in the expanded 48-team tournament. With groups featuring stark mismatches—such as Germany or Brazil against Curaçao and debutants—multiple underdogs face three fixtures against superior attacks, yet defensive records, schedule order, and potential for clean sheets or blowouts remain fluid after only the first round of matches. Historical precedent shows weaker nations conceding heavily when drawn into tough sections, but recent qualifiers and form provide limited separation, while tiebreakers and goal-difference volatility keep outcomes contested until all 72 group games conclude. Trader consensus thus prices nearly every participant with comparable implied chances pending further results.
