Mees Rottgering, the higher-ranked Dutch left-hander sitting near No. 454 with a career-high of 416 reached in May 2026, faces Irish qualifier Peter Buldorini, currently ranked around 991 with a peak of 685. Rottgering brings recent Challenger success, including a maiden title earned by saving multiple match points, while Buldorini competes primarily at lower ITF and qualifying levels with limited main-draw wins. Their first meeting occurs on the Dublin hard courts in an early-round Challenger fixture where Rottgering’s superior ranking, recent form, and physical advantage shape trader consensus around a strong favorite. Factors such as Rottgering’s recovery from a recent loss to Bonzi or any late withdrawal news could still influence implied probabilities.
