KATSEYE’s WILD EP, released August 14, anchors the market’s strong consensus through its projected 120-140K first-week units and record presave totals exceeding one million, driven by sustained streaming gains and dedicated global fandom activity from the HYBE x Geffen act. The six-track project follows their prior EP’s top-five debut and recent Grammy nominations, positioning it for a likely chart-topping frame during the tracking period ending late August. Limited competition from recent releases such as Ariana Grande’s Petal and Morgan Wallen’s I’m the Problem, plus Stray Kids’ THIS & THAT, reduces the threat of a late surge. An upset would require substantially higher-than-expected consumption from a surprise drop or accelerated streaming from another title before the chart locks.
