Arsenal hold a narrow two-point lead over Manchester City with two matches left, giving the Gunners control of their destiny in a season-long title race that has tightened dramatically in recent weeks. Recent results have seen Arsenal recover form with consecutive victories after earlier slips, while Manchester City maintained pressure through an unbeaten run but were held to a costly draw that preserved the gap. Arsenal face Burnley at home followed by Crystal Palace away, matchups that align with their strong home record and overall goal difference advantage, whereas City must navigate Bournemouth and Aston Villa. This positioning explains the current trader consensus favoring Arsenal as the likely Premier League champions for the first time since 2004, though any dropped points could still shift momentum in the final week.
