This market will resolve to "Yes" if a red flag is shown at any point during the 2026 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix, scheduled for Sep 26, 2026. The market will resolve to "No" if the race is completed without any red flag periods. If the 2026 F1 Azerbaijan Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Oct 3, 2026, this market will resolve 50-50. A red flag shown during practice sessions, qualifying sessions, or any other session besides the main race does not count for this market. Only red flags shown during the Grand Prix race itself will result in a "Yes" resolution. The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting. The Baku City Circuit's tight street layout, with minimal runoff and frequent wall proximity at key corners like Turn 1, 4, and 15, has historically produced debris-generating incidents and red flags in both races and qualifying sessions. Gusting winds often destabilize cars on straights and during braking, amplifying crash risks on the narrow track. New 2026 regulations introducing lighter, narrower chassis and greater electric boost deployment add uncertainty around handling consistency and speed differentials, though enhanced impact structures aim to improve safety margins. Trader consensus at even money reflects this balance between the venue's proven volatility and the inherent variability of any single Grand Prix weekend.
