Mercedes leads the 2026 constructors standings by a substantial margin after the opening rounds, driven by consistent victories and strong results from drivers Kimi Antonelli and George Russell in the dominant W16 chassis. Their power unit advantage and early-season reliability have created a points buffer that rivals have yet to close despite extensive upgrades introduced at the Miami Grand Prix. McLaren sits third in the standings but shows upward momentum through targeted aerodynamic and straight-line speed improvements, while Ferrari holds second yet trails due to a documented horsepower shortfall in its power unit. Red Bull and the rest of the field remain further back, with limited evidence of an immediate turnaround. The current pricing reflects this performance gap in the early championship battle.
