Mercedes leads the 2026 F1 Constructors’ Championship by a wide margin after 14 rounds, holding 503 points compared to Ferrari’s 358, McLaren’s 306, and Red Bull’s 230. The Silver Arrows have secured 10 victories, driven by Andrea Kimi Antonelli’s eight wins and George Russell’s consistent podiums, including strong hauls at recent events like the Spanish Grand Prix. The new hybrid power unit regulations have given Mercedes a clear performance edge in qualifying and race pace. With the gap exceeding 140 points and multiple rounds remaining, the team’s reliability and development advantage underpin the market’s heavy favoritism. A realistic shift would require sustained rival upgrades or Mercedes setbacks such as mechanical failures across remaining grands prix.
