This market will resolve to "Yes" if a red flag is shown at any point during the 2026 F1 Italian Grand Prix, scheduled for Sep 6, 2026. The market will resolve to "No" if the race is completed without any red flag periods. If the 2026 F1 Italian Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after Sep 13, 2026, this market will resolve 50-50. A red flag shown during practice sessions, qualifying sessions, or any other session besides the main race does not count for this market. Only red flags shown during the Grand Prix race itself will result in a "Yes" resolution. The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.Charles Leclerc’s heavy crash into the barriers at Parabolica on lap 2 of the 2026 Italian Grand Prix at Monza triggered an immediate safety car followed by a red flag, halting the race for roughly 30 minutes while marshals repaired the damaged tire wall. The incident, which echoed Leclerc’s similar high-speed exit at the same corner in 2020, occurred amid early chaos that also included contact between the two Ferraris and position changes at the front involving George Russell and Pierre Gasly. With the red flag already deployed and confirmed by official timing and broadcasts, trader consensus on a “yes” outcome has solidified near certainty. A red flag is now a matter of record regardless of the restart or any later developments, though markets of this type resolve on the presence of at least one such stoppage during the scheduled event.
