PSM Makassar enters the September 19 Super League fixture at Stadion Gelora BJ Habibie on the back of mixed early-season results, including a 1-3 loss to Persib Bandung and a dramatic 3-3 draw with Arema FC that left them 14th with one point from two matches and defensive vulnerabilities exposed. Persita Tangerang sits fourth after earning four points, highlighted by a resilient 3-2 comeback victory over Java United featuring late goals from Rayco Rodriguez and Aleksa Andrejic. Historical head-to-head records show PSM with a modest edge, yet Persita’s stronger recent form and table position contribute to a competitive matchup where traders assign PSM the narrowest implied probability lead at home while viewing a draw or away win as realistic outcomes.
