Mate Valkusz faces Pietro Orlando Fellin in the second round of the ITF M15 Gyula on clay, with both players advancing from first-round wins on June 17. Valkusz, a Hungarian competing on home soil, defeated Leyton Rivera in three sets after dropping the middle frame, while Fellin, currently ranked around ATP 490 with a career high of 453, dispatched Tomas Lanik in straight sets. Valkusz’s experience at a higher career peak (No. 204) contrasts with Fellin’s stronger recent form and ranking, though the clay surface and local conditions favor the home player’s consistency and movement. Their prior meeting occurred on a similar surface in 2025, adding limited head-to-head context.
