The New York Yankees host the Chicago White Sox for the middle game of a three-game series at Yankee Stadium, where the Yankees hold a 43-27 record and lead the AL East while the surprising White Sox sit at 38-32 atop the AL Central. New York’s potent offense, paced by a major-league-leading 102 home runs, faces a White Sox club that has exceeded expectations with balanced hitting and effective starting pitching. Probable starters include Gerrit Cole for the Yankees against Davis Martin or a similar right-hander for Chicago, setting up a matchup of strong arms. Both clubs carry minor injury concerns, but recent form and home-field advantage favor the Yankees in trader consensus for the individual game outcome, though the White Sox have shown resilience on the road this season.
