The St. Louis Cardinals enter this interleague series with a stronger 37-29 record and second-place standing in the NL Central, contrasting the Minnesota Twins’ 31-39 mark and third-place position in the AL Central. Recent Cardinals injury updates include Ramón Urías on the 10-day IL with elbow issues and Ryan Fernandez sidelined with back pain, while roster moves have activated outfielders like Nathan Church. Probable starters highlight matchups such as Michael McGreevy or Kyle Leahy against Twins arms including Joe Ryan or Taj Bradley, with the series unfolding at Target Field amid typical early-summer conditions. The Cardinals’ recent form and divisional positioning give them an edge in implied probability, though Twins home performance and pitching depth could influence outcomes in the three-game set.
