Ju Wenjun enters Norway Chess Women 2026 as the clear frontrunner in trader consensus due to her status as reigning Women’s World Champion and consistent classical results across major events. Her 2559 FIDE rating and experience in high-stakes double round-robins support the 36% implied probability. Zhu Jiner’s rapid ascent to near the top of the women’s rankings and strong recent form position her as the main challenger at 25%, while defending 2025 champion Anna Muzychuk and blitz specialist Bibisara Assaubayeva each sit near 19.5% on the strength of proven tactical edges and Armageddon tiebreak advantages in the event’s format. Humpy Koneru and Divya Deshmukh trail on established ratings and debut considerations, with all six players ranked inside the global top 15.
