Coinbase’s Q1 2026 results, released May 7, showed revenue of $1.41 billion and a $1.49 per-share loss, both missing consensus estimates as cryptocurrency prices and spot trading volumes declined more than 20 percent sequentially. The miss weighed on shares, which have traded near $194–$216 amid broader crypto-market weakness, though the company reported record market share in global trading volumes and continued growth in derivatives and stablecoin revenue. Traders are now focused on whether improving institutional flows and product diversification can offset near-term macro headwinds before the next earnings release scheduled for late July.
