This market will resolve to "Yes" if any country not already a part of the Abraham Accords formally signs a normalization agreement with Israel under the framework of the Abraham Accords by October 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". A formal signing refers to an official agreement between Israel and another country that is publicly acknowledged by both governments and clearly attributed to the Abraham Accords or their continuation. Such a signing will qualify regardless of whether a country had an established diplomatic relationship with Israel predating this event; their becoming a signatory of the Abraham Accords qualifies as normalizing relations under the framework of that agreement. For the purposes of this market, Somaliland will count as a country. Countries already part of the Abraham Accords as of market creation—including the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco, and Sudan—will not count. The resolution source will be official government statements, however a consensus for credible reporting may also be used.**No new country has joined the Abraham Accords since Kazakhstan’s accession in November 2025.** As of late August 2026, the two-month window to October 31 offers little room for the multi-step diplomatic process of negotiations, formal agreements, and public signings. Saudi Arabia remains the most frequently discussed prospective member. Riyadh continues to condition normalization on an irreversible pathway to Palestinian statehood—a position reiterated by Saudi officials amid U.S. efforts to tie a civil nuclear cooperation agreement to Abraham Accords membership. Trump administration statements have explicitly linked the nuclear deal’s approval to Saudi recognition of Israel, yet no breakthrough has occurred. Other candidates show even less momentum. Syria has held preliminary talks but has not pursued formal accession. Lebanon’s recent U.S.-brokered framework focuses on security arrangements rather than full normalization. Somaliland expressed interest after Israel’s recognition but faces regional opposition and procedural hurdles. Indonesia and additional Muslim-majority states have signaled Palestinian-related preconditions that remain unresolved. These structural barriers—chiefly Saudi linkage to the Palestinian issue, the absence of active high-level negotiations nearing conclusion, and the compressed timeline—underpin the market’s strong consensus that no new country will join by the deadline.
