Darwin Blanch, the 18-year-old American prospect ranked near 220, faces qualifier Zhizhen Zhang in the Nottingham 2 Challenger round of 32 on grass. Blanch has shown promise on faster surfaces with a Miami win over Struff and strong qualifying results at Roland Garros, though his grass record remains limited at 1-0. Zhang, recently victorious over Okonkwo in the same event, brings greater experience and recent match play on the surface despite entering via qualifying. The matchup pits Blanch’s athleticism and rising form against Zhang’s consistency and serve patterns, with traders monitoring any late injury updates or surface-specific adjustments ahead of the June 15 encounter.
