Svyatoslav Gulin enters the ATP Challenger Royan match on clay holding a clear ranking edge at approximately No. 496-512 with a career high of 358, compared to Pierre Delage’s position near No. 737 and peak of 668. Gulin has posted recent clay wins in Lyon Challenger qualifying and other events, demonstrating solid form on the surface. Delage benefits from home-country support in France and a significant height advantage at 6-6, which can aid serve and net play on slower courts. The Russian’s 2025 default for misconduct remains a noted off-court factor, though it has not halted his results. With no prior head-to-head, traders weigh Gulin’s superior ranking and momentum against Delage’s local familiarity in this early-round or qualifying encounter.
