Norbert Gombos enters the first-round Kosice Challenger clash on red clay with a clear experience advantage over 21-year-old Michal Krajci. The 35-year-old Slovak holds the superior ranking, a 1-0 head-to-head lead on the surface, and a longer professional record that includes consistent ATP Challenger appearances. Krajci, ranked lower and still building his game, faces a steep test in his home-country event against a veteran comfortable on clay. Both players compete on familiar territory, but Gombos’s proven consistency and physical edge in longer rallies position him as the stronger favorite according to current trader consensus reflected in the market. No major injury concerns have surfaced ahead of the scheduled match.
