The St. Louis Cardinals enter the three-game series at Target Field holding a 37-28 record and stronger recent form, including a six-game win streak snapped by the Mets, while the Minnesota Twins sit at 31-38 amid ongoing struggles in the AL Central. Starting pitching will shape outcomes, with Kyle Leahy facing Joe Ryan in the opener and additional rotation decisions pending for the weekend slate. The Cardinals’ road success and offensive depth contrast with the Twins’ home splits and run differential challenges, though Target Field conditions and bullpen availability remain variables. Recent head-to-head trends and divisional positioning add context for how momentum and roster health could influence game results over the next few days.
