This market will resolve to “Yes” if the total number of home runs hit on bonus swings during the 2026 MLB Home Run Derby equals or exceeds the listed number. Otherwise, this market will resolve to “No”. Only home runs hit on bonus swings are counted. Home runs hit in a swing off or prior to a player’s final allotted swing (i.e. swing 1-19 in the first round and swing 1-14 in remaining rounds) do not count. If the 2026 MLB Home Run Derby is shortened, truncated, or ends early for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available official data for completed rounds. If the 2026 MLB Home Run Derby is cancelled, postponed after July 27, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the exact total cannot be determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “No”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The new 2026 Home Run Derby format replaces timed rounds and outs with fixed swing allotments—20 in Round 1 for all eight participants and 15 in the semifinals and final for the top four—creating bonus swings only when a batter homers on the final allotted swing of any round and continues until recording a non-homer. Announced in mid-June, this structure means bonus HRs depend on the specific timing of a long ball rather than overall volume or pace, with tiebreakers using longest distance in Round 1 and three-swing swing-offs later. The Philadelphia-hosted field, headlined by Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber plus power threats like Junior Caminero, Jordan Walker, and Ben Rice, features proven sluggers whose recent form and ability to sustain output deep into their swing counts will influence whether final-swing homers trigger extras. With the event days away, roster health, rest advantages from the All-Star break, and any late lineup tweaks remain key variables affecting the probability of bonus opportunities materializing across the bracket.
