Carly Rae Jepsen’s upcoming double album *Day and Night*, slated for September 18 release, faces modest first-week projections largely because her recent projects such as *The Loneliest Time* and *Dedicated* posted U.S. debuts in the low-to-mid 30k range amid a dedicated but limited mainstream audience. Traders see the sub-30k bracket as the clearest path given the artist’s consistent pattern of cult-favorite pop releases that prioritize critical acclaim and touring over blockbuster pure sales, even with the expanded 24-track format potentially lifting equivalent units. The recent confirmation of a double-album structure, preorder push, and lead single “On Wires” arriving imminently have provided incremental momentum, yet no breakout streaming or chart indicators have emerged to shift sentiment away from historical benchmarks.
