Regions counted in EWC 2026: LCK (South Korea) LPL (China) LEC (Europe / EMEA) LCP (Asia-Pacific) LCS (North America) CBLOL (Brazil) The Esports World Cup 2026 League of Legends event in Paris features a balanced field of 16 teams drawn from LCK, LPL, LEC, LCS, and CBLOL, with groups finalized in early July. LCK and LPL squads enter with the strongest recent domestic form and historical international dominance, yet LEC and LCS representatives benefit from favorable seeding and matchup potential in the series-based format. CBLOL and LCP teams add further variance through upsets and stylistic differences, while the single-elimination or group-stage structure amplifies small edges in individual series outcomes. This parity across regions, combined with limited prior data on the exact bracket and prize implications, sustains the tight trader consensus around equal implied probabilities for any one region claiming the most series wins.
