Mercedes holds the edge in trader consensus for constructor pole at the Canadian Grand Prix on Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, driven by their dominant qualifying form—securing poles in Australia and Miami main events via Kimi Antonelli and George Russell—coupled with a substantial upgrade package including aerodynamic tweaks, weight reductions, and electronics improvements tailored for the track's long straights and low-downforce demands. McLaren Mastercard trails closely after narrowing their single-lap deficit progressively this season, highlighted by Lando Norris' Miami sprint pole and recent upgrades boosting competitiveness, while leading the constructors' standings at 180 points. Red Bull and Ferrari lag with weaker recent grid positions and lower points tallies, reflecting ongoing pace shortfalls amid Mercedes' power unit advantage.

If the 2026 F1 Canadian Grand Prix is canceled or rescheduled to a date after May 30, 2026, this market will resolve to “Other.”
This market will resolve in favor of the constructor team that is officially recognized by Formula 1 as having set the fastest time during the qualifying session for the 2026 F1 Canadian Grand Prix. The market will be settled based on the FIA's official qualifying results, regardless of any subsequent penalties, disqualifications, or changes to the starting grid.
For example, if a constructor team sets the fastest qualifying time but later receives a grid penalty or is moved down the starting order, the market will still resolve to “Yes” for that constructor team.
The resolution source will be the official Formula 1 website and a consensus of credible sports news reporting.
