Take-Two Interactive officially set the Grand Theft Auto VI standard edition price at $79.99 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in late June 2026, with pre-orders opening immediately ahead of the November 19 launch. This places the base game above the long-standing $69.99–$70 ceiling for major titles while remaining below earlier speculation around $90–$100. An Ultimate Edition bundles at $99.99 with premium vehicles, outfits, and single-player extras. The announcement followed extended development delays and reflects Rockstar’s strategy to balance revenue with broad accessibility amid rising production costs and platform pricing trends. Traders are now monitoring any last-minute regional adjustments or bundle variations before the fixed November release.
