Incumbent Nasir Idris of the APC maintains a dominant position in the 2027 Kebbi State gubernatorial race, with trader pricing reflecting his recent unanimous party consensus nomination and broad stakeholder endorsements. Key drivers include his administration's infrastructure record, alignment with federal priorities under President Tinubu, and moves such as selecting a new running mate alongside cross-party support from some PDP elements. Abubakar Malami's ADC candidacy stands as the main alternative but shows limited traction amid reported tensions. The February 6, 2027, election could still see shifts if coalition alignments change or if opposition gains unexpected momentum before INEC certification.
