This market will resolve according to the player who scores the most runs during the 2026 Major League Baseball regular season. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official leader as determined by the rules of the MLB. If multiple leaders are announced then this market will resolve to the player with the higher on base percentage during the 2026 MLB regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with the higher batting average during the 2026 MLB regular season. If a tie still persists, then this market will resolve in favor of the player that records more hits during the 2026 MLB regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 15, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no official leader declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. With roughly 45-50 games remaining in the 2026 regular season, the MLB runs-scored title remains highly uncertain, reflected in the market's low probabilities across a broad field. James Wood paces the league near 100 runs through strong on-base skills and power in the Nationals' lineup, while Yordan Alvarez, Matt Olson, and Pete Crow-Armstrong sit close behind with elevated OPS and frequent scoring opportunities. Traders appear to favor Shohei Ohtani, Kyle Schwarber, and Alvarez for their combination of high walk rates, home-run totals, and consistent placement in potent offenses that maximize plate appearances and extra-base hits. Key differentiators include health over the final stretch, team run environments, and individual hot streaks, as late surges or injuries can easily shift the leaderboard in this volatile category.
