This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 China Open (snooker), currently scheduled for August 8, 2026 to August 16, 2026. If this tournament is postponed after August 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, canceled, or a winner has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other." If multiple players are declared winner, this market will resolve in favor of the player whose listed name comes first alphabetically. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the tournament organizer, the World Snooker Tour (wst.tv); however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Zhao Xintong holds the narrowest edge in trader consensus at 22% implied probability for the 2026 China Open winner, reflecting his dominant recent form that includes a Players Series sweep and multiple ranking titles, while Judd Trump sits close behind at 19% as the current world number one. Ronnie O'Sullivan at 15% and Wu Yize at 12% follow, with several others clustered around 4-9% in a deep field. The race stays tight due to the event's return after a long hiatus in a Chinese venue, where local players gain from crowd support and familiarity, combined with the unpredictable nature of best-of-11 and best-of-19 matches among top-ranked professionals. Recent rankings updates and strong qualifying showings by Chinese contenders further balance expectations across the draw.
