Ajla Tomljanovic enters the first-round clash at the WTA 250 Grand Prix SAR La Princesse Lalla Meryem in Rabat as the clear favorite against lower-ranked Sada Nahimana on the clay surface. The 33-year-old Australian brings extensive experience at this level, a career-high ranking near the top 30, and recent form that includes competitive showings at Indian Wells and Miami. Nahimana, a 25-year-old Burundian ranked outside the top 200, has posted solid ITF clay results and recently became the first player from her nation to win a WTA main-draw match, yet faces a significant step up in competition. Both players favor slower surfaces, but Tomljanovic’s consistency and head-to-head edge against similar opponents shape the current trader consensus around a decisive outcome.
