In the ATP Challenger Bengaluru 2 semifinal on hard courts, fourth seed Philip Sekulic (ATP 357) holds a significant edge over wildcard Kriish Tyagi (ATP 1322) based on trader consensus, driven by his higher ranking, peak of 225, and steady quarterfinal advancement after straight-sets wins over Indian qualifiers. The 22-year-old Australian boasts a strong serve, aggressive forehand, and Challenger experience, including recent ITF M25 titles in India, though his backhand can falter under pressure. Local 19-year-old Tyagi rides momentum from his career-best upset of second seed Hamish Stewart (ATP 328) 7-6(7), 5-7, 6-4 in a grueling quarterfinal—his maiden Challenger semifinal—bolstered by home crowd support at KSLTA and improved serve from college tennis. No head-to-head exists; expect baseline rallies favoring Sekulic's rally tolerance amid 28°C conditions, though Tyagi's return game could extend sets at night.
