Recent forecasts from Malaysian meteorological sources and international models project a daily maximum around 33–35°C for Kuala Lumpur on September 7, consistent with early-September climatology where mean highs reach approximately 32–33°C. Possible afternoon thunderstorms and lingering haze (jerebu) conditions noted in official outlooks could limit peak heating through increased cloud cover and scattered precipitation, favoring the market’s leading 34°C outcome. Updated model consensus and any revisions to steering patterns or convective timing from the Malaysian Meteorological Department over the next 48 hours represent the primary near-term catalysts that could shift probabilities among the tightly clustered 33–35°C range.
