Malachi Toney holds the narrow lead in the 2026 ACC receiving yards market due to his record-setting sophomore start at Miami, where he has already posted 330 yards and four touchdowns through two games, including a school-record 234 yards against Stanford. The Hurricanes' upgraded passing attack with transfer quarterback Darian Mensah has fueled early volume and big-play production for the preseason All-ACC receiver, who led the nation in receptions as a freshman in 2025. A deep conference field featuring returning standouts like Duce Robinson at Florida State, Bryant Wesco Jr. at Clemson, and transfers such as Que'Sean Brown at Virginia Tech and Cooper Barkate at Miami keeps the race competitive, with no single player yet separating dramatically in the early season standings. Trader consensus reflects Toney's proven efficiency and Miami's offensive outlook while acknowledging the potential for other ACC wideouts to close the gap over a full schedule.
