Malcolm Todd’s “Earrings” holds a commanding 96.9% market-implied probability of finishing as the #2 song on the relevant Spotify weekly chart ending September 18 because of its sustained streaming momentum. The track, from the 2024 mixtape Sweet Boy, built a long tail of engagement through TikTok virality and consistent playlist rotation that delivered daily U.S. and global streams in the low-to-mid 20 millions range into September. Recent weekly data placed it at or near the second slot behind only newer releases, reflecting steady listener retention rather than a short-lived spike. Trader consensus views an upset as unlikely absent a major promotional push or viral breakout from a competitor that lifts another track’s weekly totals above “Earrings” before the chart locks.
